Perhaps it’s time to put some things down

We spend so much of our lives doing, planning, supporting and moving from one thing to the next that we don’t always notice how much we’re carrying.

Autumn offers us a different rhythm.

As the natural world begins to slow down and let go, this retreat is an invitation to do the same. To step away for a few hours, reconnect with yourself and notice what you may be ready to release, and what you’d like to carry forward.

You don’t need to arrive with any answers. Just come as you are.

A gentle afternoon to move, breathe, reflect and rest

Across four unhurried hours, we’ll guide you through a carefully created blend of gentle movement, meditation, reflection and deep rest.

There is nothing to achieve and no right way to experience the afternoon. Everything is an invitation.

Move

Nina will guide you through a gentle, grounding yoga practice designed to help you slow down, release physical tension and reconnect with your body.

No previous yoga experience is needed.

Reflect

Through journalling, guided reflection and gentle coaching exercises, you’ll have time to notice what you’ve been carrying, what you may be ready to let go of and what you would like to make more space for.

Sharing is always optional.

Pause

Sarah will lead a guided meditation and visualisation, giving you space to step away from the noise of everyday life and turn your attention inward.

Rest

Later in the afternoon, Nina will guide you into restorative Yoga Nidra, with blankets, bolsters and permission to simply stop.

Nothing to work out. Nothing to fix. Just time to rest.

Small by design

Just six guests.

We’ve deliberately kept The Art of Letting Go small so the afternoon can feel personal, spacious and unhurried.

There will be room to reflect, talk if you want to, or simply be quiet. Sharing is always optional.

This is your afternoon to experience in your own way.

Two neighbours. One lovely idea.

Ours began simply because we’re neighbours.

As our conversations turned to the work we each love doing, we realised how naturally our approaches complemented one another. Nina’s yoga, movement and deep rest. Sarah’s meditation, reflection and nervous-system-led support.

What we share is a love of helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves and create more space in busy lives.

The Art of Letting Go grew from that shared intention.

We’ve brought together the parts of our work that feel most complementary and created the kind of Sunday afternoon we’d both quite happily disappear into ourselves.

Make space for the whole day

Have a slow Sunday morning. Enjoy some lunch. Then come to us at 2pm and give yourself permission to step away from everything else for a while.

Before you arrive

We’d love you not to rush straight back into doing. Perhaps have dinner already prepared, put on your comfiest clothes, take a bath, go for a quiet walk, read or curl up on the sofa.

When you get home

Whatever slowing down looks like for you.

You’ll leave with your little Carry the Calm Home reminder and your Mind Medicine Aroma, so the retreat doesn’t have to end when you walk through the door.

Let the evening be part of it too.
